Leo was building a tower of blocks when suddenly, a shimmer appeared right in the middle of his room. It pulsed with all the colours he’d ever seen, and then some! It wobbled like a giant jelly, smelling faintly of blueberries and sunshine.
“Whoa!” Leo whispered, poking it. His finger went right through! It felt like warm fizzy pop. Curiosity bubbling, he stepped through the shimmering doorway.
He landed softly on something that felt like a bouncy castle made of marshmallows. Above him, the sky wasn’t blue, but a swirling, giggling mix of pinks, oranges, and purples. And everywhere, *everywhere*, was colour!
This was it: Magical Colourful Scene 2!
Trees had leaves that weren’t just green, but changed from sparkly sapphire to bubbly bronze, rustling with tiny bell-like chimes. Flowers, shaped like tiny trumpets, played little tunes when the wind blew, each note a different shade of light.
And then, Leo saw them: the “Wobble-Blobs”! They were round, squishy creatures made of pure, glowing colour. A big blob of happy yellow jiggled past, leaving a trail of shimmering golden dust. A shy violet blob bounced behind a rainbow-striped bush, peeking out with two big, sparkly eyes.
Leo laughed. He reached out and touched a floating crimson streak. It felt like warm syrup and tickled his fingers! When he pulled his hand away, the crimson clung to him, glowing softly. He drew a line in the air, and the crimson followed, creating a swirly, floating ribbon!
“You can draw with the colours!” chirped a tiny, emerald green Wobble-Blob. It nudged a puddle of sparkly blue. “Try this one!”
Leo dipped his whole hand in. The blue felt like cool silk. He flung his hand, and a spray of brilliant blue dots soared upwards, turning into twinkling stars that blinked in the sky above.
He spent what felt like hours, drawing wobbly houses in orange, painting a gigantic, smiling sun in yellow, and making silly purple zig-zags that danced across the marshmallow ground. The Wobble-Blobs giggled and helped, making colourful spirals and funny faces in the air with him.
Finally, the shimmering doorway pulsed again. It was time to go. Leo gave a big, colourful wave goodbye to his new Wobble-Blob friends.
Stepping back into his room, everything looked wonderfully normal. But as he picked up his plain blue block, he noticed a tiny, faint shimmer on his fingers, like a secret whisper of all the magical colours he’d just played with. He knew he’d definitely be back for Magical Colourful Scene 3!
