Lily was having a “hmmph” kind of afternoon. Her favourite toy had rolled under the couch, and all the usual clouds in the sky looked just… well, *cloudy*.
Then she spotted something peculiar. Far off, above the tallest oak tree, was a cloud that wasn’t grey or white, but shimmered with all the colours of a secretly hidden rainbow. It pulsed softly, like a giant, fluffy heartbeat.
“Oooh!” Lily whispered, her “hmmph” forgotten.
The colourful cloud drifted lower, wobbling like a giant, soft jelly. It floated right in front of her, soft and puffy, smelling faintly of sunshine and warm cookies. This wasn’t just *any* magical scene; it was **Magical Colorful Scene 3**, known only to adventurous children and very sleepy butterflies.
Lily reached out a finger, a little bit nervous, a little bit excited. The moment her fingertip touched the fluffy cloud, it *burst*! Not with a bang, but with a silent, dazzling explosion of pure, vibrant colour!
Swirls of cherry-red bounced around her, making her feel giggly and warm all over. Zingy lemon-yellow ribbons twirled, tickling her nose and making her want to dance. Calming ocean-blue pools floated past, making her feel as peaceful as a sleeping kitten. And bubbly grass-green sparks zipped and zagged, whispering secrets about faraway adventures.
Lily wasn’t just *watching* the colours; she was *inside* them! She spun around, laughing as purple polka dots danced on her eyelashes and orange stripes wrapped around her arms like friendly ribbons. Each colour seemed to hum its own happy tune, a silent symphony of joy.
The air popped with tiny, soft “fizz-whizz” sounds as new colours bloomed: shimmering silver, sparkly gold, and even an invisible whisper-pink that made her feel brave.
Slowly, the magical cloud began to drift upwards again, like a colourful balloon saying goodbye. It left behind tiny, glittering specks that shimmered on the grass and in Lily’s hair.
Lily smiled. She knew she could visit Magical Colorful Scene 3 again someday. All she had to do was look for the cloud that wasn’t grey, and be ready for a world full of wonderful, popping, happy colour!
